Clinton County drug charges for two people from Holt

A man and woman from Holt, Missouri, were arrested on drug charges in Clinton County after a traffic stop on Interstate 35. During the stop, a state trooper found methamphetamine in a cigarette pack belonging to the passenger, David Lee Bartee. The driver, Laura Christine Richey, admitted to having drug paraphernalia at her residence, where three glass smoking pipes with meth residue were discovered. Both individuals face felony possession charges, with Richey also facing misdemeanor traffic violations. Bond for Richey is set at $25,000, while Bartee’s is $10,000.
