Northwest picks up multiple media awards

Northwest Missouri State University student media received numerous awards at the Missouri College Media Association and Missouri Broadcast Educators ceremony, including Journalist of the Year and Best Newspaper. Dakota Oswalt, a senior multimedia journalism major, was named the MCMA Journalist of the Year and will be the editor-in-chief of the Northwest Missourian for the upcoming academic year. The university’s student media outperformed other state schools in the awards ceremony.
