Mo. man hospitalized in St. Joe after motorcyle strikes stop sign

DAVIESS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 11a.m. Monday in Daviess County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Honda VTX 1300 C driven by a 48-year-old Albany man was northbound on Route DD at 185th Street four miles north of Gallatin. The driver failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle traveled off the east side of the road, overturned and struck a stop sign. The driver was ejected.

Daviess County EMS transported to the driver to Mosaic in St. Joseph. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
