DAVIESS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 6:30p.m. Tuesday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Ford F150 driven by a 59-year-old Gallatin man was northbound on Clay Street at Grand Street in Gallatin. The driver failed to yield to a westbound 2010 Toyota Corolla driven by a 79-year-old Gallatin woman. The Toyota struck the front passenger side of the pickup.
Daviess County EMS transported the 79-year-old driver to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The pickup driver was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
