Maryville City Manager Ryan Heiland presented an update on the city’s new comprehensive plan, Maryville Momentum 2045, at a recent City Council meeting. The comprehensive plan outlines major initiatives, projects, and goals for the city’s development over the next 20 years. The plan, which involved community input through surveys and meetings, focuses on areas such as Development Framework, Housing and Neighborhoods, Downtown, Transportation, Parks and Recreation, Facilities and Infrastructure, and Economic Development. The plan aims to secure grant funding, improve land use, and support local businesses to enhance the city’s growth and development.
