Council Discusses Airport Capital Improvement Plan

Maryville City Council approved and submitted the Airport Capital Improvement Plan to MoDOT during a recent meeting. The plan includes projects such as constructing hangars and updating the airport Master Plan. City Manager Ryan Heiland presented the plan, which is financed by non-primary entitlement funds. The council discussed potential changes to the budget amounts and addressed concerns about the engineering services provided by Woolpert, Inc. for the airport projects. The council plans to revisit the CIP after the Master Plan Update to adjust project priorities as needed.
