Nodaway Valley Girls Upset East Atchison

Nodaway Valley’s girls basketball team avenged two regular season losses to East Atchison with a 42-24 victory in the district opener. Gracie Larabee led the Thunder with 17 points, while Haylee Dawson and Annalee Livengood contributed nine and eight points, respectively. The team will face top-seeded Albany in the next round on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
