ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a Kansas felon on new allegations after a weekend arrest.
On Sunday morning, Horton police notified police in Atchison that a suspect wanted on an outstanding Brown County warrant was at a residence in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
Police officers located 29-year-old Thomas Pahmahmie at a residence in the 500 block Park Street and he was taken into custody on a Brown County warrant for aggravated kidnapping, attempted murder in the second degree, aggravated battery, aggravated domestic battery, and criminal threat. Pahmahmie has previous convictions for aggravated battery and for drugs, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
