Downtown Maryville will be host to the Yuletide Magic Holiday Parade on Friday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. in downtown Maryville.
The festivities will kick off with the lighting of the courthouse square at 6 p.m., immediately followed by the lighted parade. Special guests the Grinch and Santa Claus will participate in the parade.
- The parade will travel south along Main Street from Franklin Park to the Downtown Pocket Park.
- Following the parade, Santa Claus will meet and greet families in the park shelter.
- Parade participants can also enjoy the Nodaway Chorale caroling on the square.
“The Holiday Parade is one of my favorite days of the year,” said DeAnn Davison, Downtown Maryville Executive Director. “Seeing families downtown, business windows decorated and lit up, and the whole community buzzing with holiday spirit makes it such a fun, feel-good day for Maryville.”
