Crews with MoDOT will close the Route U crossover at U.S. Route 71 May 11th to the 22nd, to remove the median islands there and to relocate signs in the area.
The affected area is south of Maryville, and just west of Arkoe.
Route 71 will be narrowed to one lane in both directions during this time, as well.
