Irish Top Spoofhounds

The Lafayette High School baseball team picked up a road win Thursday, shutting out Maryville 3-0.

Junior Elijah Castle led the way on the mound, tossing a complete game. He struck out nine, allowed just four hits and kept Maryville scoreless across seven innings.

At the plate, senior Logan Beedle drove in two runs, while Wyatt Proffit added an RBI for the Fighting Irish.

Lafayette improves to 3-5 on the season. Maryville falls to 4-5.
