E15 Approved for Summer: EPA Waiver Extends Cheaper Fuel Blend Availability

As peak travel season approaches, gas prices remain high, with the national average nearing four dollars. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Wednesday granted a waiver to allow summer sales of E-15 to continue throughout 2026, making it the fifth such yearly waiver as the ethanol industry waits for Congress to make E-15 sales permanent nationwide.
