Maryville greenlights $52.5M water plant: construction to begin in May

During a recent City Council meeting, HDR Engineering Vice President Jessica Adams-Weber provided an update on Maryville’s new Water Treatment Plant development.

The City Council approved three ordinances related to the project, including participation in the Missouri Clean Water State Revolving Fund program.

The total project budget is $52.5 million, with funding from the SRF loan and a Disadvantaged Community Grant. Construction is expected to begin in May, with substantial completion projected for July 2028.
