Maryville, Missouri Unveils “Momentum 2045” Plan Shaping the Next 20 Years

Maryville City Manager Ryan Heiland presented an update on the city’s new comprehensive plan, Maryville Momentum 2045, at a recent City Council meeting. The comprehensive plan outlines major initiatives, projects, and goals for the city’s development over the next 20 years. The plan focuses on seven main areas of improvement, including Development Framework, Housing and Neighborhoods, Downtown, Transportation and Mobility, Parks and Recreation, Facilities and Infrastructure, and Economic Development. Heiland emphasized community involvement in the drafting process, with input from residents, developers, major employers, and other groups shaping the plan’s priorities. The plan will be presented to the Planning & Zoning Commission for approval.
