MoDOT Announces Months-Long Work Zone on U.S. 136 and Route 71

U.S. Route 136 will undergo construction work until July 2026, with one lane open and reduced speed limits in place. Temporary traffic signals will be used at the bridge over Interstate 29 in Rock Port. The project will also include resurfacing U.S. Route 71 in Nodaway County starting in late May 2026. Work will occur on weekdays during daylight hours, weather permitting.
