MERCER COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 7:30p.m. Monday in Mercer County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Ford F150 driven by a 36-year-old Bethany man was northbound on Egret Avenue four miles east of Cainsville. The driver’s vision was obstructed by the dust on the gravel road. The driver failed to negotiate a curve in the road. The pickup traveled off the road, struck a large tree and continued into a field.
North Missouri Ambulance transported the driver to Harrison County Community Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
