Motorcyclist Injured in Weekend Crash in Nodaway County

NODAWAY COUNTY, Mo. — A Richmond man suffered moderate injuries in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in Nodaway County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. on Route O, near the intersection with Nodaway-Gentry County Road. Authorities report the 44-year-old man was riding a 2024 Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve and veered off the west side of the road. The motorcycle overturned, ejecting the driver, and came to rest on its passenger side.

The driver, who was wearing a helmet, sustained moderate injuries, but refused medical treatment at the scene.

Nodaway and Gentry County sheriff’s deputies, Nodaway County EMS, and Ravenwood first responders all assisted at the scene.
