Amazon is planning to unveil a souped-up version of its voice assistant Alexa, with new A.I. features . . . but it won’t be free, even with Prime.
You’ll have to pay an additional monthly subscription fee, but they haven’t announced a price yet . . . or a release date.
There aren’t any official details, but the revamped Alexa will be able to have two-way conversations . . . and not just be used to set kitchen timers and to announce the weather. Amazon is competing with the other A.I. chatbots.
